I’ve just put the finishing touches to the new look Caffeinehit. I thought it was about time it had a bit of a sprucing up and spring clean. Being the 1st birthday and all it seemed a very suitable time!

I like the ‘creative cave’ copy, a nice take on the man cave concept. I like the new design, it needed to freshen up.

the sidebar is brilliant. it’s a good place for little blurbs and news items. wherever did you get the inspiration for that slick animation?

Looks like the design change has had a (negative) impact on the google-wizadry (which is annoying). Have lost a few places for “graphic design london” and one place with “graphic designer london”. The graphic design london one is more annoying as I’ve fallen off the first page now.
This could have happened without the design change but you just don’t know. The bigger question now is what was it that could have messed it up?
Even though the ranking has changed the actual work coming through the site has increased considerably. If that’s the pay-off I’m more than happy!

Really interesting navigation -and it works. Didn’t see the old site, but this one scores very high marks on usability. I find myself almost instantly clicking on exactly what I need to in order to get exactly where I want to be. And then I’m impressed with what I find. Well done!

Good use of imagery compared to the old site. Harder hitting as a result. I like the drop-shadow for the sidebar too.
