COCKTAIL RECIPES 'B'
BARBARY COAST
- 1/2 measure Gin
- 1/2 measure Rum
- 1/2 measure Creme de Cacao (white)
- 1/2 measure Scotch
- 1/2 measure light cream

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

BARON COCKTAIL
- 1/2 measure Dry Vermouth
- 1 1/2 measure Gin
- 1 1/2 measure Triple Sec
- 1/2 tsp Sweet Vermouth

Stir with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Add a twist of lemon peel.

BEAUTY SPOT COCKTAIL
- 1 tsp Orange Juice
- 1/2 measure Sweet Vermouth
- 1/2 measure Dry Vermouth
- 1 measure Gin
- 1 dash Grenadine

Shake first four ingredients with ice and strain into cocktail glass, with a dash of grenadine in bottom of glass.

BELMONT COCKTAIL
- 2 measures Gin
- 1 tsp Raspberry Syrup
- 3/4 oz light cream

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

BENNET COCKTAIL
- Juice of 1/2 Lime
- 1 1/2 measures Gin
- 1/2 tsp powdered sugar
- 2 dashes Orange Bitters

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

BERMUDA BOUQUET
- Juice of 1/4 Orange
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 measures Gin
- 1 measure Apricot flavoured Brandy
- 1 tsp Grenadine
- 1/2 tsp Triple Sec

Shake with ice and strain into highball glass with ice cubes.

BERMUDA HIGHBALL
- 3/4 measure Gin
- 3/4 measure Brandy
- 3/4 measure Dry Vermouth
- Ginger Ale or Club Soda

Pour into higball glass over ice cubes. Fill with ginger ale or club soda. Add a twist of lemon peel and stir.

BERMUDA ROSE
- 1 1/4 measure Gin
- 1 1/2 tsp Apricot flavour Brandy
- 1 1/2 tsp Grenadine

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

BETWEEN-THE-SHEETS
- 1 dash Lemon
- 1 measure Brandy
- 1 measure Cointreau
- 1 measure Dark Rum

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

BIJOU COCKTAIL
- 3/4 measure Gin
- 3/4 measure Chartreuse (green)
- 3/4 measure Sweet Vermouth
- 1 dash Orange Bitters

Stir with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Add a cherry on top.

BILLY TAYLOR
- Juice of 1/2 Lime
- 2 measures Gin
- Club Soda

Fill collins glass with club soda and ice cubes. Stir in lime juice and gin.

- 1 measure Irish Mist
- 1 measure Rum Port
- 1 measure Tequila
- 1 measure Malibu
- 1 measure Gin
- 1 measure Bacardi
- 1 measure Vodka
- 1 measure Jack Daniels
- 1 measure Archers
- 1 measure Bells
- 1 can Red Devil / Red Bull

Add all of the ingredients to a pint glass and fill with Red Devil / Red Bull mixer. We have tried this bad boy out on my friend Adam on his birthday, trust me it does work!

BLACK RUSSIAN
- 2 measures Vodka
- 1 measure Kahlua

Pour the vodka and Kahlua over ice cubes into a whisky tumbler. For a White Russian, top up with double cream. For a longer drink, use a tall tumbler and top up with coca-cola.

BLOODHOUND COCKTAIL
- 1/2 measure Dry Vermouth
- 1/2 measure Sweet Vermouth
- 1 measure Gin

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Decorate with 2 or 3 crushed strawberries.

BLOOD TRANSFUSION
- 1 1/2 measures Bacardi
- 5 measures Chambord
- 1/2 measure raspberry puree
- Dash of freshly squeezed lime
- Cranberry Juice

Mix together the first four ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Serve in a tall glass, topped up with cranberry juice.

BLUEBIRD
- 1 1/2 measures Gin
- 1/2 measure Triple Sec
- 1 dash bitters

Stir with ice cubes and strain into cocktail glass. Add a twist of lemon peel and a cherry.

BLUE CANARY
- 3/4 measure Gin
- 3 tbsp Grapefruit Juice
- 1 tbsp Curacao

Combine ingredients with ice in mixing glass and stir gently. Strain into chilled cocktail glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.

BLUE DEVIL COCKTAIL
- 1 measure Gin
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon or 1 Lime
- 1 tbsp Maraschino
- 1/2 tsp Blue Curacao

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

BLUE MOON COCKTAIL
- 1 1/2 measures Gin
- 3/4 measure Blue Curacao

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Add a twist of lemon peel.

BOOMERANG
- 1 measure Dry Vermouth
- 1 1/2 measures Gin
- 1 dash bitters
- 1 dash Maraschino

Stir with ice cubes and strain into cocktail glass. Add a twist of lemon peel.

BOSTON COCKTAIL
- 3/4 measure Gin
- 3/4 measure Apricot flavoured Brandy
- Juice of 1/4 Lemon
- 1 1/2 tsp Grenadine

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

BRAINSTORM
- 1 measure Irish Whiskey
- 2 dashes of Benedictine
- 2 dashes of Dry Vermouth

Stir the ingredients together with ice in a shaker or jug and strain into a cocktail glass. Decorate with a twist of orange peel.

BRAIN HAEMMORAGE Sent in by Matt, UK (2002)
- 1 measure Baileys
- 1 measure Sambuca
- 1 measure Grenadine

Take a shot glass and put a 25ml shot of sambuca into it. Using a teaspoon layer on top the baileys. Then carefully pour a couple of drops of grenadine on top. This should sink towards the bottom layer making a brain-like structure. (Hence the name). Down in one and enjoy.

BRANDY ALEXANDER
- 1 measure Brandy
- 1/2 measure Creme de Cacao
- 1 measure double cream
- Grated nutmeg

Shake with ice and strain into large champagne glass. Sprinkle with grated nutmeg.

BRONX COCKTAIL
- 1 measure Gin
- 1/2 measure Dry Vermouth
- 1/2 measure Sweet Vermouth
- Juice of 1/4 Orange

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Serve with a slice of Orange.

BRONX COCKTAIL (DRY)
- 1 measure Gin
- 1 measure Dry Vermouth
- Juice of 1/4 Orange

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Serve with a slice of Orange.

BRONX TERRACE COCKTAIL
- 1 1/2 measures Gin
- 1 1/2 measures Dry Vermouth
- Juice of 1/2 Lime

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Add a cherry.

BROWN COCKTAIL
- 3/4 measure Gin
- 3/4 measure Light Rum
- 3/4 measure Dry Vermouth

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

BUCKET PUSSY
- Bucket of Ice
- 250ml Whiskey
- 100ml Coke
- 100ml Red Bull

In an ice bucket half filled with ice add: 250ml Whiskey - preferably of Thai origin otherwise the cheapest brand you can find. 100ml Coke (a-Cola) 100ml Red Bull (super strength if possible although illegal in the UK) Add a straw, or more if you have friends...

BULLDOG HIGHBALL
- Juice of 1/2 Orange
- 2 measures Gin
- Ginger Ale

Pour into highball glass over ice cubes and fill with ginger ale, then stir.
