CAIPIRINHA (BRAZILIAN) Sent in by Katja (2002) - 1/2 Lime cut in 6 pieces - 1 measure of Cashasa or Pitu (Brazilian sugarcane schnapps) - 2 tsp brown cane sugar - crushed icePut the limepieces into a cocktail glass add the cane sugar mash together nicely with a 'mortal' (is that how you spell it?!) fill the glass up with crusched ice top with the messure of pitu mix quickly with a long spoon so the limejuice and sugar come up fill up with crushed ice again and: ready! dream of brazilian sunshine and dance lambada! |
CALIFORNIA DREAMING - 2 dashes Kirsch - 3 measures Pineapple Juice - 1 dash Lemon Juice - Champagne to top upPut the ingredients in an electric blender with a few ice cubes and blend for 30 seconds. Pour into a wine glass and top up with Champagne. Decorate with pineapple. |

What happens is that when the Bailey's and Lime Cordial mix in their mouth they congeal into a nice thick cement-like substance, hence the name. It's a perfect shot for the inexperienced drinker. |

It's a mix which is nice, but the surprise is the best. |

We suggest you keep all the ingredients in the fridge to ensure you get the right degree of coldness. 1) Stir all the ingredients several times over ice cubes in a mixing jug. 2) Strain equally into four martini glasses and garnish with leomon or lime wedges. |
