ABBEY COCKTAIL - 1 1/2 measures Gin - Juice of 1/4 Orange - 1 dash Orange BittersShake with ice and strain into cocktail glass - for decoration add a maraschino cherry. |
ABSOLUT COSMOPOLITAN - 200ml Absolut Mandarin Vodka, chilled - 200ml Cranberry Juice Drink, chilled - 100ml Cointreau Liquer, chilled - 25ml lemon juice - Few good dashes of lime cordialA twist on one of the current cocktail favourites, the Cosmopolitan combines some great fruit flavours. 1) Combine all the ingredients over several ice cubes in a mixing jug. 2) Strain equal amounts into four martini glasses. |
ABSOLUT SUNSHINE MARTINI - 6 fresh mint leaves, plus extra to garnish - Half a mandarin orange - 1/2 measure Mandarine Napolean - 1/4 measure Syrup de Gomme - 1 1/2 measure Absolut Mandarin - 1 measure fresh orange juiceMuddle together the mint leaves and mandarin orange. Add the remaining ingredients, shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with mint. |
ABSOLUT TONIC - 200ml Absolut Mandarin Vodka, chilled 50ml lemon juice 1 litre Tonic water, chilledCombining length with a refreshing flavour by adding Absolut Mandarin gives tonic water a whole new midsummer dimension. 1) Pur the vodka and lemon juice into a mixing jug over ice cubes and stir. 2) Pur equal amounts into four tall glasses over some more ice cubes, top up with tonic water and garnish with lemon or lime. |
ADAM & EVE - 1 measure Gin - 1 measure Forbidden Fruit Liquer - 1 measure Brandy - 1 dash Lemon JuiceShake with cracked ice and strain into cocktail glass. |
ALABAMA FIZZ - Juice of 1/2 Lemon - 1 tsp powdered sugar - 2 measures Gin - Club SodaShake with cracked ice and strain into highball glass over two ice cubes. Fill with Club Soda. If you want to be REALLY pro then garnish with two sprigs of fresh mint. |
ALASKA COCKTAIL - 2 dashes Orange Bitters - 1 1/2 measures Gin - 3/4 measure Chartreuse (yellow)Stir with ice and strain into cocktail glass. |

ALEXANDER COCKTAIL 1 - 1 measure Gin - 1 measure Creme de Cacao (white) - 1 measure light creamShake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. |
ALEXANDERS SISTER COCKTAIL - 1 measure Dry Gin - 1 measure Creme de Menthe (green) - 1 measure light creamShake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. |
ALLEN COCKTAIL - 1 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice - 3/4 measure Maraschino - 1 1/2 measure GinShake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. |
AMERICANA - 1 measure Bourbon whiskey - 1/2 tsp caster sugar - 1 dash Angostura Bitters - Champagne to top upStir the ingredients in a wide Champagne glass until the sugar has dissolved. Top up with Champagne and decorate with a peach slice on a cocktail stick. |
APRICOT ANISETTE COLLINS - 1 1/2 measures Gin - 1/2 measure Apricot flavoured Brandy - 1 1/2 tsp Anisette - 1 tbsp Lemon Juice - Club SodaShake with ice and strain collins glass over ice. Fill with club soda and stir lightly - make it look nice with a slice of Lemon. |
APPETISER - 1 measure Gin - 1 measure Dubonnet - Juice of 1/2 OrangeShake the ingredients well with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Decorate with an orange slice. |
ARTILLERY - 1 1/2 measures Gin - 1 1/2 tsp Sweet Vermouth - 2 dashes bittersStir with ice and strain into cocktail glass. |
