Upgrading the work we did back in 2009 we did a whole new redesign and build. As well as integrating an API we've built in some seriously sexy functionality behind the scenes.
When the new site is live and we're ready to share it with the world we'll write up all about the design and development aspects here. At the moment we're aiming for a Q1 2010 Q1 2011 re-launch.

Gighit focuses on enhancing the live music experience, acting as the helpful, knowledgeable friend users will wish they'd always had: recommending bands, reminding them of upcoming gigs and even working hard to find them the cheapest ticket price.
The site originally launched in 2003, acting as a forerunner to successful sites like iLike and Last FM and existing in various forms until an identity crisis put the project on hiatus in 2006. In 2009 the new Gighit.com is a team player - offering full integration with its successful peers and bringing its own expertise to the party too. In 2010 and beyond expect something special.
